Finally, our long sea days are coming to a end... well at least for now. Today was our last of five sea days to reach Papeete, Tahiti, and it was an action packed day! After attending mass with Father David Remy, mom and I ate breakfast and attended a cooking seminar on how to make Gravlax (cured raw salmon). We also saw another lecture about Bora Bora and the other islands of French Polynesia. Afterwords, I got to try out the rock climbing wall which was surprisingly easy. Then, we got to take a tour of the bridge and see how the officers steer the Radiance around. Next, we saw another beautiful pacific sunset and had dinner once again in the dining room. Tonight's entertainment was Johnny Thunder (creator of the song Loop-de-Loop from 1963), who sang his hit single as well as other Motown hits from the 60's and 70's. Tomorrow, we reach Papeete, Tahiti! The weather forecast is showing rainy weather for the entire day in Tahiti. It's a shame though, as when it's sunny you can really see the blue colors in the water. Hopefully it won't impact our tour too much. Well, it should be fun anyways, stay tuned!!!
