We are almost at there! Yes, today was our last of the four sea days required to reach Auckland, New Zealand. The weather has been getting cooler and cooler and today only had a high of 62 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill in the upper 40s. Sadly, our days in the tropical region of the globe are now over. Today, we also officially crossed the International Date Line, meaning, we are now in the Eastern Hemisphere of Earth. Anyways, our day started off as usual with breakfast in the Windjammer Buffet, and then of course lunch. We had dinner yet again in the dining room. Some of the more interesting activities they had today was the guest talent show, where nine cruisers got to show off their unique skills (singing, poetry, dancing, etc.). Mom and I also played Bingo, but didn't win. Well, when your playing against 300 people, the odds are pretty slim. For tonight's entertainment, we had a married violinist/cellist duo named Stringfever. They were very talented as they performed the hits of today and yesterday on their instruments. Almost everyone in the theater gave them a standing ovation at the conclusion of their performance. Ok, that's it for today, tomorrow is Auckland, New Zealand, home of the Kiwis. Our tour will take us to Waitomo to see the famous Glowworm Caves. It should be very fun and interesting, stay tuned!
